Konto löschen

Du kannst dein Konto bei der App ydyom jederzeit löschen. Mit dem Konto löschen wir auch deinen Lernstand und alle Daten, die zu dir gehören.

In der App

1. Öffne ydyom und melde dich an.
2. Tippe unten auf Profil.
3. Tippe auf Konto löschen und bestätige.

Dein Konto ist dann sofort gelöscht. Du kannst dich mit derselben E-Mail-Adresse später neu anmelden, aber dein alter Lernstand ist weg.

Ohne die App

Du hast die App nicht mehr? Schreib uns eine E-Mail an [email protected] mit dem Betreff „Konto löschen“. Schreib von der E-Mail-Adresse, mit der du dich bei ydyom anmeldest. So wissen wir, dass das Konto dir gehört. Wir löschen es innerhalb von 30 Tagen und sagen dir Bescheid.

Was wir löschen

• dein Konto und deine E-Mail-Adresse
• deinen Lernstand: alle Antworten, Wörter, Sterne und deine Serie
• deine Einstellungen und deine Tagesziele
• deine Zustimmungen (zum Beispiel zum Datenschutz)
• die Probleme, die du mit Konto gemeldet hast
• die Verbindung zwischen dir und deinen Geräten

Was wir behalten

• Käufe: Wenn du etwas gekauft hast, behalten wir die Rechnung (Bestellnummer, Produkt, Preis, Datum), weil das deutsche Steuerrecht es verlangt, für 8 Jahre. Sie ist danach nicht mehr mit dir verbunden: kein Name, keine E-Mail-Adresse, kein Lernstand.
• Meldungen ohne Konto: Probleme, die ohne Anmeldung gemeldet wurden, gehören zu niemandem und bleiben.
• Sicherungen: Gelöschte Daten können noch bis zu 30 Tage in unseren Sicherungskopien sein. Danach sind sie auch dort weg.

Deine Daten herunterladen

Bevor du dein Konto löschst, kannst du alle deine Daten als Datei bekommen: in der App unter Profil, oder per E-Mail an dieselbe Adresse mit dem Betreff „Meine Daten“.

Delete your account

You can delete your account in the ydyom app at any time. Deleting it also deletes your learning progress and all data that belongs to you.

In the app

1. Open ydyom and sign in.
2. Tap Profil at the bottom.
3. Tap Konto löschen (delete account) and confirm.

Your account is deleted at once. You can sign up again later with the same email address, but your old progress is gone.

Without the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete account”, from the email address you sign in with, so we know the account is yours. We delete it within 30 days and let you know.

What we delete

• your account and email address
• your learning progress: every answer, word, star and your streak
• your settings and daily goals
• your consents (for example to the privacy policy)
• the problems you reported while signed in
• the link between you and your devices

What we keep

• Purchases: if you bought something, we keep the invoice record (order number, product, price, date) because German tax law requires it, for 8 years. It is no longer linked to you: no name, no email address, no progress.
• Reports sent without an account: they belong to no one and stay.
• Backups: deleted data can remain in our backups for up to 30 days, then it is gone there too.

Download your data

Before you delete your account, you can get all your data as a file: in the app under Profil, or by email to the same address with the subject “My data”.
